worst Japanese food I ever eaten.garlic fried rice has no garlicSaba grill fish is served raw and very saltythe fried chicken has no taste.everything here is a big let down.yakitori is under cooked we have to return it 2 timesgrilled mushroom was over grilled to charcoal.! do not recommend to anyone.

Just left the restaurant with a stomach of angry fire. They served raw tsukune and when I informed the staff. She immediately took the plate to the kitchen without telling us what's happening. After 20min the manager bring out another plate of COOKED tsukune put on my table and left without a word. I take it as NORMAL incidents when they serve RAW FOOD in their restaurant. The thing is, we have a pregnant woman with us. And no one come to our table to apologize not even a word. When I talked to the manager before we left, she apparently knew about it. And no apologies at all, the only replied just 'yes'. Ridiculous!!! Won't come back again, and if you think to come to this restaurant please THINK TWICE.

The tsukune with mentaiko was quite nice but saba fish is prepared too dry. Other dishes are quite decent.

Food is great, awesome pricing. This is a place that specialize in yakitori dishes. They have other side dishes like egg with cappage, tori karage etc are all good and reasonable price.I would like preferred it if they use Charcoal to grilled their food thus 4 Stars

place feels like you've stepped into a yakitori joint in Japan after work... I would taste as a 4 but the tsukunr order was undercooked... beware of this and may have to send it back to cook again... surprisingly this has stayed alive for years now and there's always Japanese people eating there...

Food was great and for the most part service was quick. We felt one of the servers was not very patient and we ended up waiting almost 20 min after finishing the rest of our meal before realizing they forgot one of our orders. Still would recommend for the tsukune and appetizers.

The taste is normal and there is no special centerpiece.The price is about SGD100 / person.Poor location, no parking in front of the building, camera surveillance area, so it is difficult to call taxis or Grabs.

Never eat this shop!! Their service is very bad and prices are higher. Sometimes, the plate is dirty. They didn't wash carefully the plates. Very noisy and the shop owners cannot speak english well.

Great izakaya - specializes in tsukune (minced chicken) and yakitori. Good drink selection too. Service standards vary but have been coming here for many years and still reliable.

I think this place is technically an izakaya, but IMO the food here takes center stage. They serve a variety of yakitori (basically char-grilled meat on sticks) including tsukune (think small meatballs on sticks), as well as a number of other delicious small plates like chicken karaage. The service is quick, friendly, and always correct. And the hot sake tastes great with everything! Highly recommended.

It's as if you are in Japan, it's delicious no matter what you eat! I will go here if I want to eat Japanese food!

This is a yakitori restaurant run by Japanese people. All menus were delicious with real charcoal grill. The most popular Tsukuney was soft and delicious. I enjoyed a lot of Japanese alcohol. When the shop is crowded, it takes time to make yakitori, so it would be nice to eat a little fried food while waiting.

They have local Japanese eating here, so can't be that bad right? The ramen was rather delicious, with a heavy broth and the chicken yakitori was grilled well and tasty. The staff could do with a smile but I'm here for the food.

Outstanding tsukune and yakitori

It is a tavern with a delicious tsukune.In other words, it is better not to expect other than tsukune.It was a little surprising that cucumber 's Kuro - chan - like obviously commercial cheap goods came out with pickles platter.Besides that, I do not feel much about cooking as much as I can. Many things like cuisine come out at the amateur 's house, and chicken rice is different from the level of anger when people in Amami see it.Service is not so good, and I do not feel that cleaning is perfect.I often listen to the story that I used to be good, so did I do a major owner change?
